We all have a story to tell and everyone’s story matters. Now is the time for us all to unite by sharing those stories. In this workshop, we will ‘Take Space, Make Space’ through dual language poetry to tell the story of ourselves, our culture, and our people. At the end of the program, we will perform our stories in poem form, with the central theme being how culture and bloodline make us who we are. This program is for native Spanish speakers, as well as native English speakers interested in improving their Spanish or looking for a culturally diverse workshop.

Neyda Colón-DiMaria is a dance artist, writer, and, above all, a human.
