Amazing Race Camp

Ages: 5-7
Come race your way through a week of games, challenge, and adventure! Similar to the TV show, we will work in threes and participate in physical and mental age-appropriate challenges, including crafts, obstacle courses, puzzles, games and more. The teacher guides you through the series of fun, developmentally-appropriate activities, so don’t fret, none of these challenges will be impossible to complete. The goal is to challenge you, get you to exercise resilience, and practice teamwork and patience in a positive and encouraging environment. Monday through Thursday campers will practice different activities to prepare for the main “race” on Friday.
Workshop Teacher Information: Bailey is at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill earning a B.A.Ed as a Human Development and Family Studies major. Next year, she plans to complete the Master’s of Arts in Teaching in Elementary and Special Education at UNC. Bailey is a North Carolina Teaching Fellow who believes in the vital role of a teacher. While her primary focus is general education, she is thrilled about the opportunity to use her background in music to lead music camps. Bailey is very excited for her first summer with TDS!
