Bone Suckin’ Sauce Peak City Pig Fest

Apex Sunrise Rotary is proud to present the 10th Annual Bone Suckin’ Sauce Peak City Pig Fest, which is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS), the nation’s leading BBQ sanctioning body. 42 cook teams will compete for more than $12,000 in prize money cooking chicken, ribs, beef brisket and pork. The Bone Suckin’ Sauce Peak City Pig Fest is the one of the top KCBS-sanctioned event in North Carolina.

All the fun starts Friday at 5pm with a beer garden, live music and of course BBQ.. It’s a time for family, friends, and neighbors to get out and enjoy each other and the atmosphere. You’ll also be able to stroll around the competition area as cook teams get ready for an all-nighter of cooking their best BBQ. Be sure to stay to watch the rib eating contest between the Apex Police Department and the Apex Fire Department.
