Celebrate the Earth and sustainability practices at Earth Day at the Curb, featuring the first ever Live Green awards for sustainable businesses presented by the Greensboro Farmers Market Inc and the City of Greensboro. Live nature exhibitions, learning opportunities, kids activities, tastings and more!

Mark your calendars! Earth Day is Saturday April 22! The City of Greensboro and the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market are teaming up to host the first ever Live Green Awards to celebrate and reward sustainably conscious businesses in our area. We will have exhibitors and vendors on the Lindsay lawn and lot, including: Triad ECOBus with live critters, Piedmont Bird Club, Kathleen Clay Library and more to join. Free activities for all ages, tastings, learn about and connect with local "green" businesses, and more! Shop farm, food and craft vendors with products originating locally within 100 miles. Special sponsors for this event include: Piedmont Education Alliance (sponsoring Kitchen Compost pilot), Gallin Farm, & Granville Homes
