The Farm at Piper Hill - Silk Hope, NC

The 1870 Farm Family of Chapel Hill, alongside the Kids Farms Foundation, sought to save this property from development. This oasis is now an outdoor farm-based learning environment for children, a sanctuary for rescue animals and the perfect space for you and your family to get away and unplug right in the heart of Chatham County.
Visitor experiences at the farm include hands on time with our farm animals, fishing, kayaking, hayrides, mining for gems, treasure hunting at the creek and so much more!
Our large open spaces, open air barn and beautifully decorated barn house will make your wedding or special event all the more beautiful.
For the kids, we offer birthday party packages, overnight retreats, day camps and summer camps.
