The goal of this camp is to support the participants in their process of well-being and self-confidence through street and club dance. During the program, they will gain knowledge and an appreciation for the House and Hip-Hop cultures and develop a sense of self-worth by working on personal challenges and strengths.
The students will learn some of the basics of street and club dance and how to get creative within those styles through routines, freestyle exercises, foundation drill exercises, and exchanges. There will be moments of insight and discussion and they will be asked to watch documentaries.
Scholarships are available.
Proof of COVID vaccine and boosters are not required at ADF’s Scripps Studios. Masks are at the discretion of the faculty.
