Rougemont Farmers' Market on the Farm - Prodigal Farm

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 09/02/2018
Mark your calendars, y'all! We'll be back in September with another monthly farmers' market on our farm, featuring our goodies and a selection of other farmers and artisans whose work we respect. The Bahama Farmers Market / Vendor / Food Trucks and Blue Whistler Farm used to do these, but aren't any longer, so we're trying to fill that niche in our community. We'll have so many things -- you can really do your shopping for the week!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

--Gorgeous flowers, microgreens, and more from MamaSprings farm
--of course our cheeses and fantastic goat meat, and some of our delicious mint lemonade to sip while you're there
--pork, lamb & art from Bull City Farm
--jams & salsas from Ellen Vick of J'Ellen Jams
--salad mix, kale, asian greens, peppers (spicy & sweet), okra, garlic, shallots, turnips, beets, radishes, and eggs from Honey Bee Hills Farm
This will *not* be a goat fest day -- just a farmer's market, so no tours or goat snuggles, but it's free and should be an awesome setting to do your weekly shopping. Please share this to help us spread the word!
DIRECTIONS: We're on Bahama Road, about 3 miles north of "downtown Bahama", and 1.5 miles north of Lake Michie. If you're coming from the south, you'll hit a detour on Bahama Road, as soon as you cross Lake Michie: at that point, turn left onto Wilkins Road, and take it to the end ,then turn right onto Hampton Road, and take it to the stop sign, then turn left onto Bahama Road, and our driveway is just a few driveways north on the right. There will be a sign at the driveway entrance.

Interested in selling? please email kat@prodigalfarm.com. We're trying to make sure we don't have overlap among vendors. We may take a few crafts folks, but the main goal is food, and you should be the original producer of everything you sell. I am thinking of doing a one-time crafts market on the farm around the holidays -- drop me a line if you're interested in that, too!
