Six Sundays in Spring - Town of Wake Forest, NC

Bring the kids, friends, a picnic and a blanket and settle in for some foot-tapping, finger-snapping good times! These concerts take place in the beautiful E. Carroll Joyner Park amphitheater at 701 Harris Road. The music will start at 5:30 pm and end at 7:30 pm, but come early and stay late! Join your friends and neighbors and make this season of Six Sundays in Spring your best Sundays of the year! Six Sundays in Spring is presented by ARTS Wake Forest and the Town of Wake Forest’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department.

The Wake Forest Guild of Artists, our visual arts group, will present a mini Art in the Park Market. Several Guild members will show and sell original artwork at each concert.

We present Six Sundays without charge to our community. Please help us continue this annual music series by contributing financially or by volunteering your time. Donate online or at concerts. Email us to volunteer. 

 

Park Reminders

Please park in Joyner Park’s designated parking lots. Alcoholic beverages, smoking, and unleashed pets are prohibited at Joyner Park.

Vendors

Food and refreshments will be available at Joyner Park during the concerts. We strive to have a good variety of food vendors with diverse offerings at our Six Sundays concert series, so that everyone can find something they like to eat or drink. Check back, as vendors may change from one week to the next.

Weather Updates

Should there be truly inclement weather, concerts may be cancelled. Updated concert information will be available on Wake Forest TV 10, the town’s Facebook page and by calling the Wake Forest Weather Line at 919-435-9569. Smartphone users who have downloaded the Town of Wake Forest app will receive a message informing them of any schedule changes.
