Ages: 4-5
Dive deep into everything USA with our Stars & Stripes camp! We will learn about the Fourth of July, the American flag, pride, and of course, fireworks. Learn and sing patriotic songs and create red, white, and blue crafts, like shaving cream fireworks, flag paintings, and Fourth of July crowns. To celebrate our patriotic week, camper-made crafts and decorations will be on display at our Independence Day parade.
Workshop Teacher Information: Morgan is entering her third summer working for TDS Summer Programs, and she is looking forward to serving as a workshop instructor and administrative assistant again this year. Morgan graduated from UNC-CH with her Bachelor of Arts in Education. During this past school year, she worked as the STORM Lab technology assistant, so Morgan is excited to continue working with TDS students and their friends this summer during the Stars & Stripes and Mini-Meteorologists camps.
