StoryWalk™ at Historic Oak View County Park | Kids Out and About Research Triangle

StoryWalk™ at Historic Oak View County Park

Take a StoryWalk™ at Oak View in August! StoryWalk™ combines the pleasures of reading a children's book while taking a nature walk. During the month of August, Oak View's brick walkways will feature the illustrated children's book "Let's Count Goats!" by Mem Fox (author) and Jan Thomas (illustrator). After taking the walk, be sure to say hello to Oak View's goats in the Goat Corral (weather permitting Mon-Sat 9 am-4:30 pm, Sun 1:15-4:30 pm)!! Please remember to maintain social distancing on the trail and wear a mask when distancing isn't possible.

The StoryWalk™ Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk™ is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
