In conjunction with "Art for A New Understanding: Native Voices, 1950s to Now," teens are invited to learn about and reflect creatively on our shared history of the land we inhabit. Vivette Jeffries Logan, local community leader and citizen of the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation, will facilitate an “Indigenous/American Indian 101 session.”

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Participating teens will process their thoughts and feelings through a variety of creative arts practices, including visual arts, writing and storytelling. This program is free but space is limited and advanced registration is required: nasher.duke.edu/teens.
