2025 Wake Forest Independence Day Celebration

Now in its 52nd year, Wake Forest's annual celebration presented by Capital Chevrolet is one of our area's most eagerly-anticipated summer-time events serving up two days-worth of free fun and excitement for the entire family - and it's all free! Join us for the Fireworks Spectacular, Children's Parade, and Art & More in the Park.

A very special thanks to Dawn Nakash, the Wake Forest Optimist Club, a group of incredible volunteers, and the Wake Forest Police Department for making this year's July 4 Children’s Parade possible.

Fireworks Spectacular
Thursday, July 3; Gates open at 5:30 pm
Heritage High School, 1150 Forestville Road
The fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:30 pm 

Children's Parade
Sponsored by the Wake Forest Optimist Club
Friday, July 4; line-up begins at 10 am; parade starts at 10:30 am
Intersection of North Main Street and West Juniper Avenue, near the Wake Forest Historical Museum, 414 N. Main St.

Art & More in the Park
