Artspace Summer Art Program

Join Artspace in 2026 for 8-weeks of fun and creativity during our Summer Art Program for rising Grades 1-12! We offer week-long summer art workshops in various mediums, taught by professional artists, who lead students in the creative process, encourage exploration, and produce one-of-a-kind projects! While creating, students have the opportunity to meet working artists and view exhibitions from national and regional exhibiting artists in our unique facility in downtown Raleigh. At the end of the summer, families can visit Artspace to see an exhibition full of works by our youth summer artists!
Workshops are week-long, running from June 15-August 14. Parents/guardians can choose to register their child for a morning class, afternoon class, or both. Classes are divided by grade level with 4 options: grades 1-3, grades 3-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12.
Daily Schedule
Drop Off: 8:30am – 9am
Morning Classes: 9am – 12pm
Lunch + Early Pick Up: 12pm – 1pm
Afternoon Classes: 1pm – 4pm
Pick Up: 4pm – 4:30pm
Registration begins February 5th for Artspace members, and February 19th for non-members.
Per 3 hour camp: $160 members // $182 non-members

Scholarships
Artspace offers need-based scholarships for our Summer Arts Program. Each summer, Artspace offers up to 60 financial need-based scholarships to students living and attending school in Wake County to participate in our Summer Art Programs. We ask any families requesting a scholarship to submit a letter with your application detailing how your child/children will benefit from participating in Artspace’s Summer Art Program. We hope and trust that families who truly need assistance will apply. Scholarships are limited and awarded on a first-come, first served basis.
Scholarships will cover the 90% of the cost of a half day or full day of camp for one week. Families will pay the remaining $18.20 (half day) or $36.40 (full day). Full day scholarship recipients will receive lunch every day free of charge from our lunch vendor sponsor (vegetarian options available). Deadline to apply: April 27
