eet Craig Danby (Team Mowbot) from Discovery Channel's BattleBots as he teams up with the Techno Tigresses, Johnston County's only all-girl FIRST LEGO League robotics team, for a free community event at Clayton's premier bowling location! The event will feature Danby's heavyweight combat robots and the tigresses LEGO EV3 Mindstorm robots. This event is for anyone interested in learning more about heavy weight combat robots, insect-class battle robots and FIRST, the world's largest robotics competition for students in grades K-12.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held at Rainbow Lanes Family Fun Center on Hwy 42 in Clayton, NC on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 from 12-2pm. The event is supported by the Hocutt-Ellington Memorial Library, Town of Clayton, and Rainbow Lanes.
