The Creative Kitchen Kids Food Fest at Marbles is a weekend of activities dedicated to teaching families about how to make balanced food choices through fun and engaging activities. The festival will serve up flavorful fun with free hands-on experiences, community partner engagement and live entertainment. Kids can roll up their sleeves for hands-on cooking workshops and reserve their spot in the James Beard Foundation Future Foodies Classes. Families will learn through play with the Balanced Plate Scavenger Hunt, featuring goody bag prizes.

Location: Marbles Playway, IMAX Theater and Moore Square.
Cost: Kids Food Fest is free to the public, with tickets required for the Future Foodies Classes and admission to the museum.
James Beard Future Foodies Classes: Secure your place in one of the cooking classes, with select sessions led by James Beard Award Winners. Tickets are $25 per child (ages 3 & up), which includes up to two (2) accompanying adults. An adult must be present at all times.

- Fun Foodie Flow: Yoga with Lucy from Team Marbles.
- Circus Play with StoryUp!: Balance, toss and try out circus ground skills.
- Baile Folclórico Vicky: Celebrate Mexican culture by dances of different regions of Mexico.
- Hip-Hop Step Aerobics: Get movin' and groovin' with Club Cardio!
- Raleigh Rockers Street Show: Witness incredible breaking (breakdancing) and join in on the fun.
- Food Demonstrations: Learn how to make your own food with special guest star chefs.
