Our program focuses on experiential learning, with emphasis on developing interest and skills in environmental sciences, respect for each other and nature, and building self confidence. Through field study with researchers and subject matter experts, we examine what lives and grows on the Eno, how the land and climate affect what lives here, and do authentic research into what is around us.
Important information:
Eno River Field Station is back to only one week of camp this year. Sorry! :)
Cost: $250 plus a $20 registration fee.
Location: Confluence Natural Area in Hillsborough, NC. *Note that we will not be able to provide bus transportation to and from camp from Hillsborough Commons this year.
Drop-off is between 8:30-9:00am and pick-up is between 5:00-5:15pm.
*Note: This year, Eno River Field Station will not be able to provide lunch and snacks for campers. We are incredibly grateful to the grant funders who have supported this effort over the years, allowing us to ensure nutritious meals for our participants. As a nonprofit organization, the Eno River Association relies on donations and grant funding to support our programs, including this camp. Unfortunately, due to changing circumstances, we are unable to offer this service this year. We encourage families to plan accordingly and send campers with their own lunches and snacks to enjoy during their time with us. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our mission to connect people with nature.
