Farm Day | Kids Out and About Research Triangle

Farm Day

Come join us for a fun fall day on the farm. Includes story time, animal time, face painting, craft area, and more. Spots are limited as we are a small family farm with a calm, laid back, space for families, friends, coworkers, and individuals to come relax on the farm. Great for adults and kids!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Celebrate fall with relaxing time on the farm. Feed the birds, snuggle the goats and sheep, enjoy arts and crafts, get your face painted, go on an adventure during story time, and have joyful time on the farm.

What to expect:

- Goat and Sheep cuddle area. They may even lay in your lap :)

- Open Farm Store with lots of premade gifts, stones and crystals, farm swag, and farm products

- Two scheduled feeding times for the chickens, ducks, and goose. You can bring your own treats or we will have some you can use. 11:30am and 1:15pm

-Face Painting

-Storytime (Goat on the Go and Kids Yoga Stories)

-Craft stations:

  • nature and animal themed ceramic painting

Ages:

All ages welcome.

(tickets need to be bought for ages 1 and up--If they will participate in the activities like face painting, craft stations, animal area, or bird feeding they need a ticket please)

**Parents please stay with your child(ren): We do ask that all ages are respectful to our property, the animals, and other visitors (i.e. chasing, yelling, running, etc. are not allowed)**

This is a smaller homestead not a big open property or field, and our animals are used to a relaxing atmosphere. The birds are free roaming.

If you have a child who is unable to remain relatively calm, please reach out to us by email to work out another way to visit or get suggestions of farms that have more space for higher energy needs.

Thank you for your understanding :) **
