Join us for one of our biggest tours of the year and celebrate Halloween at the Refuge. Don’t miss out on vegan trick-or-treat around the Refuge, an open invitation for family-friendly costumes, a photo booth, face-painting, special seasonal treats for the residents, pumpkin carving & painting, and more! As always, you will also be able to:

Walk the beautiful Refuge grounds at your own pace and meet our rescued farm animals. goats, sheep, ducks, geese, chickens, turkeys, and cows!

Hear the powerful stories of each resident from one of our incredible tour guides.

Spend time at our serene brick animal memorial, learn about our unique approach to designing homes for the animals, and relax at our beautiful Pavilion.

Enjoy awesome vegan food from two local vendors: Govinda’s Catering and Kitoko Bites.

Arrive any time after 11 a.m. and tour at your own pace, but please note that the Refuge will close to visitors promptly at 2 p.m. The Refuge is equipped with several disability accommodations, including an ADA-compliant porta potty in the parking lot, as well as a golf cart and driver that can drive up to 3 guests to all of the areas of interest during tours.
In an effort to make our events more accessible, we are offering sliding-scale tickets that range from $5 to $40 per person. All tour proceeds help the Refuge provide lifelong care to rescued farm animals.
