JCRA Garden Chefs

Young Chefs go from garden to table in this week-long, hands-on gardening and cooking class. Campers learn about growing fresh veggies at home, participate in daily taste tests, and prepare recipes from scratch.
Basic cooking and gardening skills are covered. Campers are closely supervised as they practice kitchen techniques like slicing, chopping, and using kitchen gadgets.
Campers bring a bagged lunch and snack from home.
Camp registration will open with 8 campers per session and may increase as allowed by University, state and federal gathering limits. Campers will be required to follow NC State University Community Standards.
Note: Both weeks of Garden Chefs camp will use the same activities and recipes. Please do not sign your camper up for both weeks since activities will be repeated.
- Rising 4th to 6th graders.
