JCRA Garden Explorers Camp

Campers dabble in citizen science, urban farming, art and cooking in this week-long exploration.
Rising 4th through 6th graders.

This camp is a sampler of the best parts of all our camps. There is time to slow down and observe what's happening in the garden and learn how to make observations. Campers also transform into garden scientists and report their observations for citizen science projects.
The garden also provides a chance for campers to dig in the dirt, taking care of the "Yurt Yard" vegetable garden and enjoying the tasty rewards of their labor. Before the week is over, campers will dabble in the arts, science, and fun that the garden has to offer.
