Meteorology - Weather Instruments

You could ask a groundhog, or your can join us to learn how scientists really predict the weather by practicing your own observation-based forecast. We will measure the atmosphere using tools including an anemometer, hygrometer, barometer, and sling psychrometer. Make a weather instrument to take home!

Program is intended for children ages 6-9. Parents are welcome to stay and observe but are not required to accompany their children. Advance registration recommended. Register online at https://reclink.raleighnc.gov using course code #232013. Please dress for the weather and outdoor fun!
