Middle Child Dance Theatre is an NYC-based dance company under the direction of Heather Dutton. Our work is an ongoing practice of play in many forms and is supported by theatrical and comedic devices. We walk the line between grief and humor as we attempt to capture relatable experiences in their entirety, with an emphasis on uplifting queer stories and artists. Dutton’s work has been presented throughout New York at venues including Here Arts Center, Flushing Town Hall, Dixon Place, Arts on Site, LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, The Tank, and 28th St. Theater.
