Children ages 6-9 learn about the warm-blooded animals that share the woods and fields of the preserve.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Kids make new friends and discover the wonders of nature with a park naturalist. The focus will be hands-on outdoor discovery and the study of living things in their habitat. In case of rain, indoor activities will be available. This program is part of our Daring Discoveries series in which each Thursday has a different theme. Come to one or more! Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toed shoes (not sandals or flip-flops). Don’t forget to put on bug spray and sunscreen before you arrive. Preregistration required. Register online at reclink.raleighnc.gov using course code #238078.
