Nature MeetUp - Parenting Off The Beaten Path

Join us at Lake Crabtree County Park!
For this meetup we will begin with a short hike of the Beech nature trail (approximately 0.5mile loop, sandy/rooty terrain with several boardwalk sections and wooden bridges). Big kids can go fast (maybe two loops!) and littles can toddle along at their pace. After the hike, join us in the big field for some unstructured running, relaxing, picnicing, feather-finding, nature fun. If the field is closed due to wet conditions, we will walk or drive to the brown/green playground instead (and then likely playground hop to the blue one after too!).
These come-as-you-are Nature Meetups are designed to give kids and their adults minimally-structured time in nature to play, explore, and connect. Our objective is to support all families in expanding their child’s experiences in nature.
