Travel the world without leaving the studio! In this immersive week, students become cultural explorers as they investigate traditions, clothing, festivals, foods, and daily life from cultures around the globe. Through research, storytelling, art, and filmmaking, students discover how culture shapes identity and how stories help preserve traditions across generations.

Students will design a handcrafted cultural doll dressed in traditional clothing, write a children’s book describing a “day in the life” of a child from their chosen culture, and produce a short documentary film sharing what they learned.

This studio blends anthropology, storytelling, art, and design, helping students grow as creative thinkers while developing curiosity, empathy, and appreciation for the diverse cultures that shape our world.
