PineCone Bluegrass Jam Camp

For intermediate fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and upright bass students ages 10-16 looking to take their bluegrass music to the next level while learning to jam with others. Learn jam etiquette, back-up, lead, harmony, and improvisation. There will also be a culminating concert for the jam camp on Friday, July 26, coinciding with one of Cary’s Starlight Concerts. The jam camp students will perform at 6:30, opening for a bluegrass band to be announced - stay tuned for details!

Lynda Dawson, Charles Pettee, and Pattie Hopkins Kinlaw return to teach this year’s students.
Students provide their own instruments. Pen, paper, and a recording device are recommended as well.
