The Secrets of Stone

Tilden Stone's furniture is beautifully carved and masterfully built. But one of the most interesting aspects to his designs is the inclusion of secret compartments, fool-the-eye false fronts, and other surprising features and visual puns. On select dates and times, the Gregg offers staff-led up-close tours of each piece in the "Southern Surreal" exhibition. Each compartment will be opened, each secret revealed of these cleverly designed, one-of-a-kind pieces.
