Summer Art Workshops at Children’s Art Classes of Raleigh offer a creative, enriching alternative to traditional camps. Our week-by-week workshop schedule allows families to choose individual sessions or pair workshops for a full morning or afternoon of artmaking.
Throughout the summer, students ages 3-18 can dive into a wide range of artistic experiences, including beginning drawing and charcoal, painting on canvas, watercolor, anime and manga character design, fantasy art, stained glass-inspired creations, and themed mixed-media projects. Younger artists enjoy age-appropriate sessions designed especially for tiny hands, while older students build real artistic skills and confidence.
Workshops run 1.5 hours (Tiny Hands workshops run 1 hour), are taught by certified art teachers, and include all professional materials. Students leave each session with finished artwork they’re proud of—and families enjoy flexible scheduling without committing to a full-day camp.
Single workshops are available, or students can stay for back-to-back sessions for a deeper creative experience. Perfect for beginners, returning students, and passionate young artists alike.
