Under the Silver Moon Lantern Workshops and Parade - Town of Cary, NC

Save the Date! The lantern parade will be Saturday, January 15, at 6 pm. Academy Street Artwork Projects is excited to have internationally-renowned visual teaching-artist Gowri Savoor on board to lead a series of lantern-making workshops and the Under the Silver Moon Lantern parade as a part of the GLOW 2021 outdoor exhibition. Throughout January, there will be several community workshops led by Gowri to create lantern structures using sustainable materials. The lanterns will be used for a community lantern parade where everyone can appreciate the beautiful lanterns!
