Winter Storytime
*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 01/30/2026
Chase away the winter blues with a good story and walk through the JCRA's gardens in winter!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
The program begins at the Bobby G. Wilder Visitor Center where we will get ready for a fun time outside together. Then, we will take a stroll to see all that is happening in the garden during the winter season, read a couple stories among the plants, and stop by the Education Yurt for a nature-inspired craft to take home!
Please come dressed for the weather, as this program will be primarily outdoors. In the case of severe cold or wet weather, the program may be rescheduled if it can't be moved indoors. Caregivers stay with children during the program and are encouraged to participate.
