In August 2023, Linda Shropshire launched Ella West Gallery in the heart of the historic Black Wall Street area in Downtown Durham, NC. Representing brilliant artists from the region, across the U.S., and abroad, Ella West Gallery aims to shift narratives around what is beautiful, brilliant, and deserving of recognition in the canon of art history. With a focus on artists who are women, people of color, and LGBTQ+, Linda has created a space that is both inviting and world-class. Every three months, Ella West Gallery features A-list artists for new and established collectors alike. New memberships offer community, access, education, and various avenues to collect art.
