All summer, there’s a Freaky Friday ice show on Fridays at 4:30 pm right in the Olympic Center on Main Street in Lake Placid. Skaters compete and are judged based on their entertainment, so creativity, style, and humor show through. Plus, it’s free! On Saturday nights, internationally competitive skaters show their routines in a slightly more formal—but still family-friendly—show at the Olympic Center ($10/adult, $8/kids 7 to 12, and kids 6 and under are free—discounted for Passport holders). The central location makes this an easy night out with the family.
