Longleaf Forest School offers nature-based summer camps and preschool/homeschool programs on the beautiful RambleRill Farm. Visit our website to learn more about summer camps for ages 4-10 (and CIT for 11+), and Forest Preschool (ages 3-6) and homeschool programs (ages 6-10) that run September through May. Developing an understanding of community and each individual’s role within it, is at the heart of our programs. Children continue to grasp the interconnection of all life, from the natural world to human communities to an individual’s family and one’s self. This approach helps each child gain a sense of stewardship for all communities around them. Give your child the gift of nature play at a school based on a gorgeous farm in Hillsborough! Camp Longleaf runs 7 weeks of camps that include: plenty of unstructured free play, games, nature journaling, music/songs/storytelling, fort building, creative opportunities with natural and/or art materials, garden tending and harvesting and tasting and plenty of movement, excitement and opportunities to cool down. Additionally we offer forest school programs September through June for ages 3-10 with limited spots still available for enrollment in our school-year programs! Longleaf Forest School offers afterschool Nature Clubs on RambleRill Farm on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm for ages 5-10.
