Superhero 5k and Fun Run

All race proceeds, as well as additional donations, will go to support these two local ministries. The event is stroller-friendly and pet-friendly (dogs on leashes) so don't worry about getting a babysitter or dogsitter - we don't want anyone in the family left behind!
Race Day Schedule:
7:30AM - Race day registration opens
8:15AM - Registration closes
8:30AM - 5K Run/Walk
9:30AM - Fun Run/Walk
10:00AM - Games and prizes for all to enjoy!
Course Description:
The 5k race/walk will begin at LifeSpring Church and will be an out and back race to Sandy Creek Park. Participants will run down Pickett Road before turning onto the Sandy Creek Trail. After running down this scenic trail participants will turn around at the park parking lot and head back towards LifeSpring Church.
The fun run will will take place at LifeSpring Church and will consist of four laps around the soccer field, with participants receiving prizes for each lap they complete!
Awards:
1. "Mr. and Mrs. Flash" will be awarded to the top male and female participants from the 5k race!
2. "Dash" will be awarded to the fastest runner 10 and under in the fun run!
3. Best individual costume!
4. Best group costume!
