Wanda's Little Hands Educational Center Before Care Program
Wanda's Little Hands Educational Center Before Care is for children in grades K-5. Hours are 5:00 am - 9:00 am. Wanda's Little Hands Educational Center buses will drop off at the following Southeast Raleigh Schools:
- Barwell Elementary
- Bugg Elementary
- Creech Road Elementary
- Poe Elementary
- Rogers Lane Elementary
- SE Raleigh Elementary
- Walnut Creek Elementary
After a hearty breakfast, activities will include: simple yoga techniques, practicing gratitude, stopping by ‘Affirmation Station’ to build self-acceptance and confidence, a calming corner to help children recognize and process their emotions, calming strategies to help children learn to regulate their emotions, art and design to boost creativity and encourage self-expression, and homework help.
Wanda's Little Hands Education Center is committed to helping each individual child develop a basic love for learning, and the social skills necessary to be a successful member of our society. Mrs. Wanda McCargo’s educational center is a 5-star rated, North Carolina Pre-k site offered by Wake County Smart Start. Mrs. McCargo is passionate about helping each little hand grow and learn for tomorrow.
